Coppersmith Brockelman partner Kristen Rosati was recognized as one of the Phoenix Business Journal’s 2017 Most Outstanding Women in Business at a luncheon on April 3. She was honored alongside 30 other winners from the education, health care, nonprofit, real estate and technology industries.

The annual Outstanding Women in Business program celebrates the successes of Phoenix women who have demonstrated a high level of professional achievement, leadership and mentorship within their companies, industries and the greater community.

Over the past two decades, Kristen has left an indelible footprint in the local and national legal communities. She is widely considered one of the nation’s leading HIPAA attorneys. She also has deep expertise with large data breaches, health information exchange, data sharing for research and clinical integration initiatives, electronic health record roll-outs, clinical research compliance and contracting, biobanking, and “Big Data.”

Kristen is a sought-after national speaker on these issues and has been active in national healthcare policy. She is Past President (2013-2014) of the American Health Lawyers Association, the nation’s largest health care legal organization.

Kristen has earned many accolades throughout her career, including recognitions from Best Lawyers®, Chambers USA, and Super Lawyers. Locally, Az Business has named her among Arizona’s Top 100 Lawyers and the 50 Most Influential Women in Arizona Business.
