Naomi practices in the area of health care law. She focuses on assisting health care clients and other entities in complying with HIPAA and other federal and state health information privacy laws, including advising on uses and disclosures of protected health information, business associate agreements, issues related to health information exchange, and breach reporting obligations. She also works with health care clients on clinical trial contracting.  She assisted in drafting the most recent versions of The National HIPAA Privacy and Security Tool Kit for Hospitals, published by Coppersmith Brockelman, and The Consent and Health Information Resource Manual, published by the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association in conjunction with Coppersmith Brockelman. She also helps direct the firm’s HIPAA compliance program.

Before law school, Naomi was a member of Teach for America and taught fourth and eighth grades.
