Andy Gordon was recently featured in Forefront, a magazine published by Mayo Clinic Cancer Center, for his work to raise awareness for lymphoma and other blood cancers.

Andy was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a rare blood cancer that affects only one in 14 million people, in 2009. Thanks to advances in cancer treatment, Andy is able to live an active life—he is one of the state’s leading election and political law attorneys and is an avid cyclist, completing a 100-mile ride around Lake Tahoe just a year after he achieved remission.

The Forefront story details Andy’s cancer treatment journey at the Mayo Clinic, a leading cancer treatment center in the Phoenix area.

Andy has been able to use his experience to give back to the community. He was recently reelected as president of the Board of Trustees for the Arizona Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He has raised more than $150,000 through cycling fundraisers.
