Ahwatukee Foothills News Showcases Jill Chasson’s Olympic History

Every four years, Coppersmith Brockelman’s Jill Chasson is transported to the electrifying summer of 1992 in Barcelona, Spain, when she competed as a swimmer in the Summer Olympics. The employment-law attorney and Ahwatukee resident, then a 23-year-old member of Team USA, fondly remembers those two weeks of competition.  She had completed her degree at Stanford University two years earlier, secured a coveted spot among 15 women on the 40-member swimming team, and competed in the 200-meter breaststroke. Arizona Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Names Andy Gordon as Board of Directors Chairman

The Arizona Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, one of the most prominent nonprofit organizations in the Valley, has named Andy Gordon, partner at Coppersmith Brockelman, as the chairman of the Board of Trustees for 2016-17. A board member since 2011, Andy is a myeloma survivor and two-time stem cell transplant recipient. His first-hand knowledge and experience will allow him to lead the Board from a unique perspective. At age 60, Andy was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a rare blood cancer, just twelve years after he lost his first wife to the very same cancer.
