Charlie Miller is a commercial litigator with experience across appellate courts, federal civil rights enforcement, constitutional advocacy, and major litigation on behalf of the state. His work in judicial chambers and government institutions gives him a well-rounded perspective on how legal arguments are developed, evaluated, and resolved, along with a strong foundation in researching nuanced issues and translating them into clear, persuasive written analysis.
Prior to joining Coppersmith Brockelman, Charlie clerked for the Hon. Andrew M. Jacobs of the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One. He also held legal roles with the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, Arizona Attorney General’s Office, U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, and Constitutional Accountability Center. Each position strengthened his understanding of a broad range of state and federal litigation, constitutional issues, and public policy questions.
