Dina’s nationwide practice focuses on advising and assisting clients in meeting their information technology legal needs, and on Internet, e-commerce, and general commercial transactions in a variety of industries, including health care.

Dina’s experience includes drafting and negotiating software license and services agreements for electronic health records (EHRs), revenue cycle, claims management, and all other functionalities from all major health information technology vendors. She is also experienced in related regulatory matters such as HIPAA and business associate agreements (BAAs).  Her practice includes handling the technology legal issues during mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other corporate restructurings with a particular emphasis in helping clients negotiate transition services, cloud computing, financial, customer care and other technology and commercial agreements, particularly for artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

Dina helps emerging companies and established multi-national entities solve real problems, in real time, in their commercial and business operations.

Representative Matters

  • Works with mobile health, health data and other startups, helping them strategize, negotiate and draft customer and vendor agreements, website agreements and independent contractor agreements
  • Advised a national mental health network in acquiring a new EHR system and a telehealth system app
  • Assists multi-state and regional health systems, community hospitals and rural healthcare entities in their technology acquisitions, including electronic health records, revenue cycle systems, BAAs and related matters
  • Developed a variety of application development agreements for a national “bake-off” contest
  • Assists major health systems in their acquisitions and divestitures of individual hospitals by spearheading the technology transition and related services agreements
  • Serves as outside general counsel for a clinical laboratory, focusing on customer contracting and data security
  • Assists a national nonprofit social services agency in its intellectual property grant development and in general technology matters
  • Advises a major religious organization in its acquisition of financial and call center technology
  • Assists in data privacy, security and breach matters for all clients
  • Negotiates and drafts a wide variety of technology agreements, including SaaS, PaaS, AI and cloud computing service transactions
